Once you have spoken with Dr. Prescott or Dr. Eberlin during your consultation, you will receive all of the necessary information to decide if plastic surgery is right for you. If you happen to have any questions that were not answered, or need clarification, please do not hesitate to call and speak with us. All questions can be answered on the phone, or by email, or if desired, you can have a second consultation with the doctor.

The next step is to
schedule your procedure. Simply call Sheila or Stephanie in the office, and decide on a surgery date that works for you. Dr. Prescott and Dr. Eberlin operate all day Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Please keep in mind the healing schedule that the doctor reviewed with you, so you can plan to take the necessary time off from work and social activities.

The fee to schedule your procedure depends on the total cost of the procedure. If the total cost is less than $10,000, the fee is $500. If the total cost is greater than or equal to $10,000, the fee is $1,000. This fee, like the consultation fee, is also deducted from the surgery fee (so the fee is in essence, free). The scheduling fee is really just a deposit towards your planned procedure.

Why do we have scheduling fees?
Once you call and schedule your procedure, you have reserved time in Shadelands Surgery Center, the private fully-accredited cosmetic surgery center that Dr. Prescott utilizes. Nurses, anesthesiologists, and other staff members will now dedicate their time to be ready for you on this day. If you decide to change your day of surgery, especially if it is within 21 days, that time will not be filled, and those staff members will most likely not work. So it is extremely important for you to select your date carefully.

What if I need to re-schedule?
We realize that plans can change, and your original date may no longer be the best date for you. If you must re-schedule, then a second scheduling fee will be added. This subsequent scheduling fee is then
not deducted from the surgery fee. If you need to re-schedule and it is within 21 days of your scheduled procedure, then the scheduling fee is doubled ($1,000 and $2,000), and is not deducted from the surgery fee. Scheduling fees are non-refundable if surgery is cancelled. Unfortunately, patients sometimes do get sick right before their procedure, and we will re-schedule without fee with a doctor’s written note.
